HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue University Calumet volleyball team faced a traditional Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference heavyweight for the second-straight match, falling to Olivet Nazarene, 3-0, at the Fitness and Recreation Center on Tuesday night. The Peregrines slide to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in the conference with the defeat.

Purdue Calumet came out firing in the opening set of the match, battling the Tigers point-for-point as a Ashley Eaves, Maria Frebis and LaTiana Harris combined for seven kills early on. However, the Black and Gold hit a dry spell midway through the set, as ONU finished the frame on a decisive 10-3 run to claim the win.
