JOLIET, Ill. – Joliet Junior College’s Patrick Bizimana became the 13th commitment for Purdue University Calumet men’s soccer James Drzewiecki, after signing with the Peregrines this past week.

“Patrick is one of the most exciting wing backs I’ve come across in my career,” said Drzewiecki.  “His pace and energy are incredible and he brings a very professional attitude and work ethic to the team.  He’s a great signing for us.”

The 5-foot-9 defender was an NJCAA All-Region IV selection for the Wolves in 2010, helping the team to a 7-6-3 mark in his final season at the school. Bizimana was also a standout at Bolingbrook High School in Illinois, where he was a two-time all-conference and all-region honoree.

The Rwanda native is the son of Joseph Bizimana and plans to major in electrical engineering.
